Lady Barn House School

The Board of Directors

It is the Directors’ function to have responsibility for the long-term success and viability of the School and to support the Head and Senior Leadership Team. Directors are non-executive and many have full-time jobs.

Since Lady Barn House School is a charitable trust, the Directors’ role as the trustees of its legally-constituted board is to plan the strategic objectives of the school, ensure its financial health and that the school conforms to legal requirements.

Directors come from a range of backgrounds: they can be parents, a figure in the local community, professionals or retired people with relevant experience.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors is Mr Peter Ward.  He may be contacted via the Clerk to the Governors, Lady Barn House School, Schools Hill, Cheadle, SK8 1JE. Phone: 0161 428 2912
